The Kirchner Chiropractic Legacy

Dr. Opal Kirchner McMillen and Dr. BG McMillen opened their first Chiropractic practice in Kansas City, MO in 1951.  The couple opened several other clinics in the Kansas City area, eventually settling in Burlington Kansas in 1967.  Dr. Opal opened Kirchner Chiropractic in 1967 and was joined by her son, Dr. L. Dean Kirchner in 1968.  Dr. Opal retired shortly after.

Dean became known as Dr. L. Dean Kirchner as a graduate from Cleveland Chiropractic College and opened his first Chiropractic office in Kansas City, MO in 1956.  Dr. Dean held a practice in Raytown, MO before moving to Burlington to join Dr. Opal in 1968.  Dr. Dean retired in Burlington in 1989.

Wayne Kirchner, Dr. Dean's first son, became a Chiropractor in 1979. Dr. R. Wayne Kirchner is a 1979 graduate of Logan Chiropractic College. Dr. Wayne has been in practice in Burlington since 1979.

Dr. Hollee Kirchner is Dr. Wayne's first-born child. Dr. Hollee graduated from Kansas State University in 2011 with a bachelors degree in Nutrition Science and then graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic College in 2014. She now joins her father in practice as a fourth-generation Doctor of Chiropractic.
